Our team

The coaches behind the method.

Every program at Studio ME is written and coached by a human who knows you. Meet the team.

Megan Cooper

Owner & Head Coach

Megan founded Studio ME in 2014 after years at the National Marrow Donor Program, and after watching what fitness, or the absence of it, did to the people she loved most. She built a studio that takes strength seriously: not as vanity, but as the thing that keeps you in your own life. Her coaching is about helping people get strong, build real confidence, and actually stick with it.

Alan

Coach

Alan came to coaching after a career in the golf industry, where he spent years teaching and developing athletes in the South. That background gave him a sharp eye for mechanics and a good instinct for what motivates people. He brought that same energy to fitness and hasn't looked back.

Chelsea, personal trainer at Studio ME Fitness, smiling in front of the pink and blue studio mural in Northeast Minneapolis.

Chelsea

Coach

Chelsea brings a Kinesiology background and 15+ years of personal training experience to every session. She specializes in strength, weight loss, exercise for people with disabilities, and yoga. That range makes her really good at meeting clients where they actually are and building programs that fit their life.

Billy, fitness coach at Studio ME Fitness, smiling with arms crossed in front of the Studio ME mural in Northeast Minneapolis.

Billy

Coach

Billy has been living the health and fitness lifestyle for over a decade, and he brings that energy into every session. A former basketball player with a talent for keeping things fun, he knows how to push clients hard while making sure they actually enjoy showing up. Over 10 years in, and still going.

Luke, strength coach at Studio ME Fitness, smiling in a black Studio ME shirt in front of the pink and blue studio mural in Northeast Minneapolis.

Luke

Coach

Luke approaches fitness the way he approaches most things: thoughtfully. With a background in psychology and sociology, he gets that what keeps people training long-term is rarely about the weights. He works with clients to figure out what they actually want, then builds around that.

Elliot, strength and conditioning coach at Studio ME Fitness, smiling with arms crossed in a pink Studio ME shirt in front of the blue and white studio mural in Northeast Minneapolis.

Elliot

Coach

Elliot knows firsthand what it takes to rebuild. He recovered from a serious leg injury through a combination of swimming and progressive strength training, and that experience shapes how he coaches: patient, evidence-based, and genuinely invested in what the body can do. He holds a BA in Exercise Physiology from Gustavus Adolphus, has over 10 years of coaching experience, and has finished two full Ironman triathlons.

Shelby, coach at Studio ME Fitness, smiling with hand on hip in a pink Studio ME shirt in front of a colorful mural in Northeast Minneapolis.

Shelby

Coach

Shelby's path to coaching started as a Studio ME member. She trained here, grew here, and eventually went through the Studio ME mentorship program to earn her spot on the floor. That journey, from client to coach, gives her a perspective that most trainers don't have. She brings real warmth to every session and people feel it.

We are careful about who we hire. Coaches at Studio ME are credentialed, mentored, and continuously trained on the ME Method. We don't run an onboarding-and-throw-into-class model. Every new coach shadows, assists, and is checked out before they program for a member.
